Cabinet Warranty – Limited Lifetime Coverage for Kauai Homes

At Kahale Cabinets & Design, we stand behind the craftsmanship of every product we sell. That’s why we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser for the duration of homeownership. This warranty reflects our commitment to providing quality cabinetry that lasts—and peace of mind for homeowners throughout Kauai.

What’s Covered Under Our Warranty

Kahale Cabinets & Design warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser for as long as they own the home where our cabinetry is installed.

We may choose to repair or replace any product covered by this warranty. All evaluations will be made at the sole discretion of Kahale Cabinets & Design.

What’s Not Covered

This warranty does not apply in the following circumstances:

  • Improper storage, handling, or installation
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or alterations
  • Natural variations in wood color, texture, or grain
  • Changes in finish due to sunlight, smoke, household cleaners, or other environmental conditions
  • Normal wear and tear or aging
  • Any products purchased unfinished
  • Labor costs for removal or reinstallation
  • Incidental or consequential damages related to cabinetry use or installation

We reserve the right to inspect any claimed defective products prior to approving a return, repair, or replacement. Some replacement parts may differ from originals due to availability.

Special Door Considerations

Wood is a natural material and may react to changes in temperature and humidity.

Doors that warp or show minor panel shrinkage (¼˝ or less) should be allowed to hang through one season (especially spring) to acclimate before a replacement is requested. These issues often resolve naturally once the environment stabilizes.

Please also ensure that doors are properly installed and adjusted prior to making a claim.

How to File a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please follow the steps below:

    Fill out and submit our Warranty Form

    Include clear photos of the damage

  • 3

    Provide a detailed description of the issue

  • 4

    Attach a copy of your original receipt or proof of purchase

Important Notes:

  • All damage claims must be reported within 3 days of receiving the product

  • If the damage is shipping-related, your delivery receipt must be signed by the driver with the damage noted at the time of delivery

  • In some cases, the original parts may need to be returned to Kahale Cabinets & Design
