Cabinet Warranty – Limited Lifetime Coverage for Kauai Homes

At Kahale Cabinets & Design, we stand behind the craftsmanship of every product we sell. All of our cabinetry brands carry their own manufacturer-specific warranties. Coverage terms, duration, and what is included vary by product line. Kahale Cabinets honors and follows each manufacturer’s official warranty guidelines to ensure your cabinetry is serviced according to manufacturer standards. We can provide specific warranty information for each product we sell, just ask!

What’s Typically Covered Under Warranty

  • Defects in workmanship or manufacturing
  • Premature failure of hinges, drawer glides, and hardware

  • Structural defects in cabinet boxes, doors, or drawer

  • Defects in materials (e.g., wood, laminates, finishes)

What’s Not Covered

  • Improper storage, handling, or installation
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or alterations
  • Natural variations in wood color, texture, or grain
  • Changes in finish due to sunlight, smoke, household cleaners, or other environmental conditions
  • Normal wear and tear or aging
  • Any products purchased unfinished
  • Labor costs for removal or reinstallation
  • Incidental or consequential damages related to cabinetry use or installation
Cabinet Warranty in Kauai

We reserve the right to inspect any claimed defective products prior to approving a return, repair, or replacement. Some replacement parts may differ from originals due to availability.

Special Door Considerations

Wood is a natural material and may react to changes in temperature and humidity.

Doors that warp or show minor panel shrinkage (¼˝ or less) should be allowed to hang through one season (especially spring) to acclimate before a replacement is requested. These issues often resolve naturally once the environment stabilizes.

Please also ensure that doors are properly installed and adjusted prior to making a claim.

How to File a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please follow the steps below:

    Include clear photos of the damage

    Provide a detailed description of the issue

    Attach a copy of your original receipt or proof of purchase

Important Notes:

  • All damage claims must be reported within 3 days of receiving the product

  • If the damage is shipping-related, your delivery receipt must be signed by the driver with the damage noted at the time of delivery

  • In some cases, the original parts may need to be returned to Kahale Cabinets & Design
